Coyote is a band from Charlottetown, PEI, who have been bringing their signature pop-rock, arena-funk jams to audiences across Canada for the past five years. Known for their well-rehearsed performances and fun-loving attitudes, the band has built a dedicated following by keeping the energy high and playing everything from backyard festivals to sold out concert venues. Their positive, life-affirming lyrics, massive guitar hooks, and tasteful synth arrangements will fire up any dance floor and leave listeners wanting more.

Coyote has showcased at such events as Rifflandia Festival (BC) Harvest Jazz and Blues (NB), East Coast Music Week, Canadian Music Week (TO), NXNE (TO), The Evolve Music and Awareness Festival (NS) and Halifax Pop Explosion (NS) and have shared stages with the likes of Stars, Tokyo Police Club, Plants and Animals, Hey Rosetta!, Library Voices and more.

Coyote released their sophomore EP Proof of Life in September 2014. Produced and engineered at home in Prince Edward Island with Colin Buchanan (Paper Lions, Sorrey), the album features a charismatic sound that perfectly captures the robust live pop element of Coyote. The album won Pop Recording of the Year at the 2016 East Coast Music Awards, as well as Group Recording and Pop recording of the year at the Music PEI Awards in 2015. On the heels of their successful sophomore EP Proof of Life, Coyote has released a new summer-yearning single called “Nights”. Also produced by Colin Buchanan, the song evokes a feel-good, love-of-the-night emotion with its infectious melodies. Lyrically, ‘Nights’ embraces curiosity, change, and a search for new experiences, nodding at the progression in Coyote’s sound and direction.
