GT FCKD is a DJ collective consisting of three DJs from Antigonish, Nova Scotia. The trio, less frequently known as The Nish Mafia, will be returning from a two year hiatus after previously carving their name into the Atlantic Canadian electronic music scene beginning in 2008. Originally, the trio became known as the Maritime’s electro-house ambassadors, but have since branched out their repertoire to include an eclectic array of genres such as drum & bass, ghetto funk, breaks, glitch-hop, and other various forms of bass music, among other genres.
The group has had the privilege of sharing the stage with international DJs Lucky Date (Chicago, IL), Grandtheft (Toronto, ON), and King Kornelius (Victoria, BC), as well as performing at the Evolve Music Festival from 2010 – 2015, including a string of memorable Sunday night sets.
You can expect a new live experience from the newest reincarnation of the group, with a combination of new influences and old tastes. The music may have evolved and changed over the years, but the mission statement remains the same; GT FCKD.
