Dreaming of sixties fuzz rock and blues, Brothers is a wonderful combination of new and old. Artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Cream, and Nirvana can be heard throughout their music, as well as new artists like The Sheepdogs, Wolfmother, and The Black Keys. Their mission: to bring fuzzy blues into the 21st century. From dirty guitar, thumping bass, pounding drums, and more emotion and energy imaginable, Brothers is an act that is guaranteed to lay it all on the floor.
Starting from short jams, between Logan Colter and Joseph Burton, right before their high school jazz band rehearsals, the two started quickly writing songs and shaping a vision – let’s play some rock and roll. Then, with the help of their friend Keegan MC on the bass, they polished off the few songs they had, played a couple shows, and recorded a demo. It was at this point that they knew they had something special.
Since releasing their Demo, in December 2011, they have been playing regularly throughout varies venues in Fredericton. Currently, they are working on writing their full length album to be recorded in the fall and released early next year.
