For more than 15 years, Nick Nonsense has been bringing house, techno, and everything in between to dancefloors in Halifax and all over Atlantic Canada. Always pushing the envelope, Nick mixes up house, tech, funk and other groovy sounds into the finest of audio cocktails. Since running Revolution Records, he now works with DJ Chris Matheson operating Atlantic Standard Recordings, a Halifax-based electronic music label, as well as broadcasts weekly on sugarshackradio.com. He also continues with his mix series called hausmuzikawlnytelaung on mixcloud.com.
DJ Lyra has been rocking the dance beats for the last 7 years, with eclectic taste in music like Techno, Tech House, Minimal, Deep House, Indie and NuDisco and many forms of Bass music. She has collaborated with many DJs and performers, made podcasts for ScionAV with Monty Luke, Ghetto Innit, Girls on Decks, and LetsGetWeird for Leiya, opened for international DJs, rocked many Halifax bar dancefloors, and has affiliated herself with Baseline and Zoo Productions. She has been musically trained since a child with singing and various instruments, so she knows how to keep that beat!
