Halifax born visual artist Wasko has been making an impact on the east coast music scene through projection visuals, art installations and stage design for years. He’s worked on stages for Evolve, Midsummer Madness, Future Forest, Afternoon Delight, Collaborate and Listen, Folly Fest, Kollektiv and more. If you’ve been to Reflections Cabaret, The Marquee Ballroom or the Company House for an electronic show in the past few years, chances are you’ve seen his work more than once. He’s done visual and stage productions for circus groups, acrobats, theatre performances, arts festivals and government organizations. This year he’s working alongside the HB crew and introducing a new stage and environment design for Evolve 2016’s Home Bass stage.
On the other side of the spectrum – Musically hypnotic, progressive and psychedelic. Wasko’s boundary pushing mixes and production aim to take you on a journey and put you musical trance. He’s amassed a dedicated following of his deep, funky and tripped out soundscapes. His musical mission is much the same as his visual: transform the space, transform the audience.
